Phalacrocorax rogersi
Taxonomy
Phalacrocorax rogersi was named by Howard (1932). Its type specimen is Santa Barbara Museum of Natural History Pal. Orn. 32.1, a set of postcrania (coracoid), and it is a 3D body fossil. Its type locality is Veronica Springs Stone Quarry, which is in a Pliocene marine horizon in California.
