Ramonellus longispinus

Taxonomy
Ramonellus longispinus was named by Nevo and Estes (1969). Its type specimen is HUJZ No. U1, a partial skeleton (part and counterpart including the greater part of a skull and mandible, a partial vertebral column, and a humerus in articulation with radius and ulna), and it is a compression fossil. Its type locality is Amphibian Hill, which is in a Berriasian/Aptian lacustrine - small siltstone in the Hatira Formation of Israel. It is the type species of Ramonellus.
