Tanzanycteris mannardi

Taxonomy
Tanzanycteris mannardi was named by Gunnell et al. (2003). Its type specimen is TNM MP-207, a partial skeleton (partial skeleton including skull, axial skeleton anterior to sacrum, partial left and right humeri, and partial left radius), and it is a compression fossil. Its type locality is Mahenge, which is in a Lutetian crater lake mudstone/shale in Tanzania. It is the type species of Tanzanycteris.
