Taxonomy
Glabrocingulum (Stenozone) elegans was named by Swart (1998). Its type specimen is CPC 34946, a shell, and it is a 3D body fossil. Its type locality is BMR GW329, which is in a Roadian coastal siliciclastic in the Coolkilya Formation of Australia.
It was recombined as Stenozone elegans by Clapham (2015).
