Petralca austriaca

Taxonomy
Petralca austriaca was named by Mlikovsky (1987). Its type specimen is Naturhistorisches Museum Wien Inv.-Nr. 1980/25, a partial skeleton (part and counterpart of incomplete skeleton with both wings and fragments of ribs), and it is a compression fossil. Its type locality is Kraftwerksbaustelle Traun-Pucking, which is in an Aquitanian coastal shale in the Älterer Schlier Formation of Austria.
