Cymatonota verisimilis
Taxonomy
Cymatonota verisimilis was named by Tunnicliff (1987) [Salter in Tunnicliff 1897 (Orthonota verisimilis Salter 1866 p. 270) ]. Its type specimen is BM 42792, a shell, and it is a 3D body fossil. Its type locality is Allt-Tair-ffynon Beds at Allt y Gadair, which is in a Longvillian marine mudstone in the United Kingdom.
