Oceanodroma hubbsi
Taxonomy
Oceanodroma hubbsi was named by Miller (1951). Its type specimen is No. 39979 Mus. Paleo. Univ. Calif., a partial skeleton (skull, vertebrae, pelvis, and left leg), and it is a compression fossil. Its type locality is South of Capistrano Beach, which is in a Miocene offshore shale in the Capistrano Formation of California.
