Fletcherithyris biundata
Taxonomy
Atrypa biundata was named by M'Coy (1847). It is a 3D body fossil. Its type locality is Black Head, Gerringong (W.B. Clarke coll), which is in a Wordian marine sandstone in the Gerringong Formation of Australia.
It was synonymized subjectively with Terebratula amygdala by Campbell (1965); it was recombined as Fletcherithyris biundata by Waterhouse (1982), Waterhouse (1987), Clarke (1987) and Lee et al. (2023).
