Chunerpeton tianyiensis
Taxonomy
Chunerpeton tianyiensis was named by Gao and Shubin (2003). Its type specimen is (CAGS)-IG-02051, a skeleton (articulated complete skeleton including soft parts), and it is a compression preserving soft parts. Its type locality is Daohugou (IVPP collection), which is in a Callovian lacustrine - large shale/tuff in the Tiaojishan Formation of China. It is the type species of Chunerpeton.
