Taxonomy
Stenopora lyndoni was named by Phillips Ross (1963). Its type specimen is CPC ML90-1 and is a 3D body fossil. Its type locality is BMR ML90, Round Hill Well, Winning Station, which is in a Sakmarian marine siliciclastic in Australia.
