Teinolophos
Taxonomy
Teinolophos was named by Rich et al. (1999). Its type is Teinolophos trusleri. It is the type genus of Teinolophidae.
It was assigned to Eupantotheria by Rich et al. (1999); to Steropodontidae by Rich et al. (2001), Kielan-Jaworowska et al. (2004); to Monotremata by Rich et al. (2005); to Australosphenida by Martin and Rauhut (2005); to Ornithorhynchidae by Rowe et al. (2008); and to Teinolophidae by Flannery et al. (2022), Poropat et al. (2023).
