Teinolophos trusleri
Taxonomy
Teinolophos trusleri was named by Rich et al. (1999). Its type specimen is NMV P208231 = MSC 148, a mandible (left mandibular fragment), and it is a 3D body fossil. Its type locality is Flat Rocks, Bunurong Marine Park, which is in a Barremian fluvial sandstone/conglomerate in the "Wonthaggi" Formation of Australia. It is the type species of Teinolophos.
