Prokennalestes trofimovi

Taxonomy
Prokennalestes trofimovi was named by Kielan-Jaworowska and Dashzeveg (1989). Its type specimen is GI PST 10-6, a mandible (lower jaw), and it is a 3D body fossil. Its type locality is Khovboor (PIN coll. 3101) [SMPE], which is in an Aptian/Albian lacustrine sandstone/claystone in the Dzunbain Formation of Mongolia. It is the type species of Prokennalestes.
