Dictyotomaria quasicapillaria
Taxonomy
Glyptotomaria (Dictyotomaria) quasicapillaria was named by Rollins (1975). Its type specimen is AMNH 29356, a shell, and it is a 3D body fossil. Its type locality is Chert Bed #2, South bank of English River, 1 mile north of Daytonville., which is in a Kinderhookian carbonate limestone/chert in the Wassonville Formation of Iowa.
It was recombined as Devonorhineoderma quasicapillaria by Karapunar and Nützel (2022); it was recombined as Dictyotomaria quasicapillaria by Amler and Heidelberger (2003), Wagner (2023).
