Beipiaopterus chenianus
Taxonomy
Beipiaopterus chenianus was named by Lü (2003). Its type specimen is BPM 002, a partial skeleton (Partial skeleton with well preserved soft parts), and it is a compression preserving soft parts. Its type locality is Hengdaozi, Sihetun, which is in a Barremian/Aptian terrestrial siltstone in the Yixian Formation of China.
