Liaoningopterus gui
Taxonomy
Liaoningopterus gui was named by Wang and Zhou (2003). Its type specimen is IVPP V13291, a partial skull (Incomplete skull and a few postcranial bones), and it is a compression fossil. Its type locality is Xiaioyugou, Lianhe, which is in an Aptian lacustrine - large shale in the Jiufotang Formation of China.
