Liter 2008 | Mesodont molars, with cingulae and Palaeomeryx fold (a ridge on the labial side of the protoconid that extends posteromedially) reduced or lost, upper canine reduced, upper premolar protocone reduced, orbit moved posteriorly (anterior rim over M3), older females with small supraorbital horns, ramus deeper, premolars reduced, antorbital vacuity present, metapodials lengthened (after Janis and Manning, 1998, p. 480). |
