Szalinia gracilis
Taxonomy
Szalinia gracilis was named by de Muizon and Cifelli (2001). Its type specimen is MHNC 8350, a partial skull (incomplete anterior half of skull and both partial dentaries), and it is a 3D body fossil. Its type locality is Tiupampa site 1, the “quarry”, which is in a Danian terrestrial horizon in the Santa Lucía Formation of Bolivia. It is the type species of Szalinia.
