Praedaraelites was named by Schindewolf (1934) [Sepkoski's age data: C Vise-u C Serp]. It is not extant.
It was assigned to Prolecanitida by Sepkoski (2002); to Epicanitinae by Korn (2006); and to Daraelitidae by Furnish et al. (2009), Korn and Sudar (2016).
