Palintropus retusus

Taxonomy
Cimolopteryx retusa was named by Marsh (1892). Its type specimen is YPM 513, a limb element (shoulder and and part of shaft of left coracoid), and it is a 3D body fossil.

It was corrected as Cimolopteryx retusus by Lambrecht (1933) and Wetmore (1956); it was recombined as Palintropus retusus by Brodkorb (1970) and Hope (2002).
