Lithoptila abdounensis
Taxonomy
Lithoptila abdounensis was named by Bourdon (2005) [in Bourdon et al. 2005]. Its type specimen is OCP.DEK/GE 1087, a partial skull (neurocranium), and it is a 3D body fossil. Its type locality is Grand Daoui, Lithoptila type specimen, which is in a Thanetian coastal phosphorite in the Couche II Formation of Morocco.
