Leioria bentori
Taxonomy
Leioria bentori was named by Cooper (1976). Its type specimen is HU 35164, a shell (ventral valve), and it is a 3D body fossil. Its type locality is Nimra Formation, (southern) Negev, Israel - Cooper 1976, which is in the Lenian of dolomite the Nimra Formation Israel. It is the type species of Leioria.
