Biplica heteroplicata
Taxonomy
Biplica heteroplicata was named by Popenoe (1957). Its type specimen is UCLA 27746, a shell, and it is a 3D body fossil. Its type locality is LACMIP loc. 10786, Clover Creek, which is in a Santonian coastal siliciclastic in the Redding Formation of California. It is the type species of Biplica.
