Moris reyana
Taxonomy
Moris reyana was named by Howard (1936). Its type specimen is Los Angeles Museum number 991, a limb element (left coracoid), and it is a 3D body fossil. Its type locality is LACMIP loc. 59, Lincoln Avenue deposit, Playa del Rey, which is in a Pleistocene marginal marine sandstone in the Palos Verdes Sand Formation of California.
It was recombined as Morus reyana by Wetmore (1956).
