Copepteryx titan
Taxonomy
Copepteryx titan was named by Olson and Hasegawa (1996). Its type specimen is KMNH VP 200,004, a limb element (left femur), and it is a 3D body fossil. Its type locality is Ainoshima Island, which is in a Chattian marine sandstone in the Ainoshima Formation of Japan.
