Naranius infrequens
Taxonomy
Naranius infrequens was named by Russell and Dashzeveg (1986). Its type specimen is PSS 20-73, a mandible (left dentary with p3-m1), and it is a 3D body fossil. Its type locality is Tsagan Khushu Quarry 1 (PIN coll. 3104) [SMPE], which is in a Bumbanian terrestrial gravel in the Naran Bulak Formation of Mongolia. It is the type species of Naranius.
