Tytthostonyx glauconiticus
Taxonomy
Tytthostonyx glauconiticus was named by Olson and Parris (1987). Its type specimen is NJSM 11341, a limb element (right humerus), and it is a 3D body fossil. Its type locality is Inversand Company marl pit, Sewell (MFL), which is in a Maastrichtian/Paleocene shallow subtidal sandstone in the Hornerstown Formation of New Jersey. It is the type species of Tytthostonyx.
