Raeticodactylus filisurensis was named by Stecher (2008) [Type specimen is held at the Bündner Naturmuseum (BNM) of Chur (Grisons, Switzerland). ]. It is extant. Its type specimen is BNM 14524, a partial skeleton.
It was recombined as Caviramus filisurensis by Dalla Vecchia (2009).
