Phalacrocorax kennelli
Taxonomy
Phalacrocorax kennelli was named by Howard (1949). Its type specimen is LACM 2127/1080, a limb element (coracoid), and it is a 3D body fossil. Its type locality is Five Points Freeway, which is in a Piacenzian/Gelasian coastal sandstone in the San Diego Formation of California.
