Taxonomy
Dielasma robustum was named by Smirnova (2004). Its type specimen is PIN 4898/2351, a shell (Articulated shell), and it is a 3D body fossil. Its type locality is Chimbulat Quarry, Kirov Region, which is in a Roadian shallow subtidal limestone in the Nemda Formation of the Russian Federation.
