Coronia carmenensis
Taxonomy
Surcula (Drillia) carmenensis was named by Anderson (1928). It is a 3D body fossil. Its type locality is El Carmen, 6 mi. W of (Horizon F), which is in a Bartonian coastal shale/sandstone in Colombia.
It was recombined as Pleurofusia carmenensis by Clark and Durham (1946); it was recombined as Coronia carmenensis by Hendy et al. (2008).
