Doerflesia ornata
Taxonomy
Doerflesia ornata was named by Feldmann and Schweitzer (2009). It is not extant. Its type specimen is NHMW 2007z0149/0015, a carapace. Its type locality is Ernstbrunn Quarry Dorfles V (NHMW collection), which is in a Tithonian reef, buildup or bioherm framestone in the Ernstbrunn Formation of Austria. It is the type species of Doerflesia.
