Kowaicarcinus maxwellae
Taxonomy
Kowaicarcinus maxwellae was named by Feldmann et al. (2008). It is not extant. Its type specimen is CM1998.171.16, a cephalothorax. Its type locality is Makikihi River, which is in a Piacenzian marine sandstone in the Kowai Formation of New Zealand. It is the type species of Kowaicarcinus.
