Taxonomy
Ophiacantha dorecki was named by Hess (1962). It is a 3D body fossil. Its type locality is Ophiuridea, Schicht A, Pliensbachian, Seewen, Solothurn, which is in a Pliensbachian offshore claystone in Switzerland.
