Yarasuchus deccanensis
Taxonomy
Yarasuchus deccanensis was named by Sen (2005). Its type specimen is ISI R 334 ⁄ 9–14, cervical vertebrae; ISI R 334 ⁄ 36, first sacral; ISI R 334 ⁄ 37, second sacral; ISI R 334 ⁄ 56*, right ilium; ISI R 334 ⁄ 63, left pubis, a set of postcrania, and it is a 3D body fossil. Its type locality is Bhimaram village, which is in an Anisian terrestrial mudstone in the Yerrapalli Formation of India. It is the type species of Yarasuchus.
