Taxonomy
Angulomastacator daviesi was named by Wagner and Lehman (2009). Its type specimen is TMM 43681-1, a maxilla, and it is a 3D body fossil. Its type locality is TMM 43681, Dawson Creek, which is in a Campanian delta plain mudstone/sandstone in the Aguja Formation of Texas. It is the type species of Angulomastacator.
