Pteraichnus stokesi
Taxonomy
Pteraichnus stokesi was named by Lockley et al. (1995). Its type specimen is UW 12368, a footprint (Trackway), and it is a trace fossil. Its type locality is Cottonwood Beach tracksite, Alcova, which is in an Oxfordian foreshore limestone in the Sundance Formation of Wyoming.
