Eomunidopsis cobbani

Taxonomy
Eomunidopsis cobbani was named by Bishop (1985). Its type specimen is USNM 370191, a carapace, and it is a 3D body fossil. Its type locality is USGS locality D 370, which is in a Campanian marine siliciclastic in the Pierre Shale Formation of Colorado.

It was recombined as Luisogalathea cobbani by Karasawa and Hayakawa (2000), Schweitzer et al. (2010).
