Prehepatus harrisi
Taxonomy
Prehepatus harrisi was named by Bishop (1985). Its type specimen is GSCM 1686, a claw, and it is a 3D body fossil. Its type locality is Blue Springs, which is in a Maastrichtian offshore shelf claystone in the Coon Creek Formation of Mississippi. It is the type species of Prehepatus.
