Roemerus ornatissimus
Taxonomy
Necrocarcinus ornatissimus was named by Forir (1887). It is not extant. Its type locality is Montagne St-Pierre, Maestricht (Forir collection), which is in a Maastrichtian carbonate limestone in the Maastricht Formation of the Netherlands.
It was recombined as Roemerus ornatissimus by Jagt et al. (2010), Schweitzer et al. (2016).
