Taxonomy
Lyropora serissima was named by Nakrem (1994). It is a 3D body fossil. Its type locality is Kapp Wærn KWAE-1-1.55 m, which is in an Artinskian offshore limestone in the Kapp Starostin Formation of Svalbard and Jan Mayen.
