Taxonomy
Meekoceras (Kingites) varaha was named by Diener (1895). It is a 3D body fossil. It is the type species of Ussuridiscus.

It was recombined as Koninckites varaha by Zakharov (1968); it was recombined as Ussuridiscus varaha by Shigeta and Zakharov (2009), Ware and Bucher (2018), Ware and Bucher (2018), Dai et al. (2019) and Jenks et al. (2025).
