Abrekopsis depresispirus

Taxonomy
Naticopsis (Naticopsis) depresispirus was named by Batten and Stokes (1986). Its type specimen is AMNH 42975 and is a 3D body fossil. Its type locality is AMNH3026, Windowblind Butte, San Rafael Swell, which is in a Smithian lagoonal/restricted shallow subtidal packstone in the Moenkopi Formation of Utah.

It was recombined as Abrekopsis depresispirus by Kaim (2009), Hofmann and Nützel (2013).
