Amia hesperia
Taxonomy
Amia hesperia was named by Wilson (1982). Its type specimen is UAVP 14758, a skeleton, and it is a 3D body fossil. Its type locality is Ashnola chert site (above), which is in a Lutetian fluvial shale in Canada.
