Taxonomy
Helodopsis abbreviata was named by Waagen (1879). It is a 3D body fossil. Its type locality is Nilawan, basal Lower Productus-limestone, Salt Range, which is in a Wordian shoreface sandstone in the Amb Formation of Pakistan.
