Megactenopetalus kaibabanus
Taxonomy
Megactenopetalus kaibabanus was named by David (1944). Its type specimen is Mus N. Ariz G2.2280, a set of teeth, and it is a 3D body fossil. Its type locality is Point Sublime, Grand Canyon north rim, which is in a Kungurian shallow subtidal limestone in the Kaibab Formation of Arizona.
