Hardistiella montanensis

Taxonomy
Hardistiella montanensis was named by Janvier and Lund (1983). Its type specimen is MV 7696, a skeleton (complete specimen preserved as a carbonaceous imprint), and it is a compression preserving soft parts. Its type locality is MV 7106, Supercrop Quarry, Bear Gulch, which is in an Arnsbergian lagoonal/restricted shallow subtidal limestone in the Heath Formation of Montana. It is the type species of Hardistiella.
