Taxonomy
Neaeroporomya soriensis was named by Eames (1951). Its type specimen is L. 80414, a shell, and it is a 3D body fossil. Its type locality is Fossil Bed F.2680, Zinda Pir, which is in a Ypresian marine shale in the Ghazij Formation of Pakistan.
