Annulispongia interrupta
Taxonomy
Annulispongia interrupta was named by Rigby and Moyle (1959). Its type specimen is BYU 11029-1 (colony) and is a 3D body fossil. Its type locality is East Side of Ophir Pass, which is in a Morrowan marine limestone in the Manning Canyon Shale Formation of Utah. It is the type species of Annulispongia.
