P. A. Jell and J. N. Theron 1999 | Row of carinal spines on arms not extending onto disc or to arm tips. Disc integument dorsally and ventrally (interradii) with irregularly spaced spines on papillate surface. Ambulacrals with short leg and longer foot to boot in ventral view. Adambulacrals with 6 or 7 curved, spatulate, ventral (or oral) spines, with 2 or 3 strong, straight, circular-sectionned lateral (vertical) spines. Madreporite large, circular, with slit-like aperture adjacent and parallel to amrgin for about 3/4 circumference. |
